Released November 30, 2009

The ontology files and accompanying documentation are freely available under the GNU LGPL license.

We request feedback on the BioPAX ontology via the biopax-discuss email list (member posting only, join here). Any issues raised will be tracked on the BioPAX wiki and dealt with in the next development cycle.

The BioPAX OWL file may be viewed in the Protégé ontology editor using the OWL Plugin.
