Release Notes

Released April 27, 2005

Changes since version 1.2 (see documentation):

• Made DIRECTION slot in catalysis optional
• Added ID-VERSION slot to xref class

The scope of this release is limited to metabolic pathway data. Future releases (see Roadmap) will expand this scope to include molecular interactions and signaling pathways.

The ontology files and accompanying documentation are freely available under the GNU LGPL license.

We request feedback on the BioPAX ontology via the biopax-discuss email list (member posting only, join here). Any issues that are raised on this discussion list will be tracked using SourceForge in the BioPAX bug tracker and dealt with in the next development cycle.

The BioPAX OWL file may be viewed in the Protégé ontology editor using the OWL Plugin.
