My home page at Harvard Medical School [1]

I am an Instructor of Genetics in the Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School in the Church Lab, a visiting research fellow at the University of Manchester (UK) collaborating with Robert Stevens, a part-time lecturer in Computer Science at Boston University Metropolitan College and serve as a consultant to pharma and biotech. In addition to the development of BioPAX and my efforts to involve the biopathway community in BioPAX, my current research utilizes and enhances Semantic Web technology for pathway research. I also support and participate when the opportunity presents itself in the newly formed Semantic Web for Life Science initiative of the W3C.

I wrote an article for Drug Discovery Today that reports on the progress of BioPAX as of Memorial Day 2005. It was published in the July 1, 2005 issue: PAX of Mind for Pathway Researchers.

I like to fly planes, rock climb, scuba dive and more.
